Located on the San Francisco Bay, the clients realized they could gain much-needed bedrooms and take advantage of the spectacular water view by expanding the top floor of their home.

This coincided with their decision to remodel their kitchen/family room and add a breakfast room on the main level two floors below the new bedrooms. Sandwiched between these two floors is the master suite, which was a candidate for updating as well. Along with the addition of spec, the clients were looking for a new personality for their 1970's house.
